Rawaa Barnes is a British singer-songwriter and multi-award-winning film maker of Middle Eastern origin. Her family moved from Baghdad to the UK in the 1970s and from a young age she has always been interested in writing stories and songs. The Characters
THE PHAROAH and King is Cleopatra’s father and the ruler of Egypt. He is a strong ruler but loves to spend money.
TOMMY is Cleopatra’s younger brother and her rival. He likes getting his own way and his ambition in life is to be the only ruler of Egypt.
OBOGO is Cleopatra’s best friend and lives at the palace.
BALTHAZAR is Theodotus’ teenage son and he likes Cleopatra. A lot!
The EVIL ADVISORS are the two palace advisors. They are greedy, like to stir and cause trouble for their own advantage.
THE WISE Sphinx is known for his wisdom and can help in times of trouble.
And... the Tellers of Time.
ESKEDAR, ESMEHAN AND MESKHENET are three witches who are sisters and possess different powers. They live across the Murky Marshes and over the Bridge of Bones.
